What is Human Trafficking?
Human trafficking involves the use of force, fraud, or coercion to obtain some type of labor or commercial sex act.
Perception of human trafficking often involves women forced into prostitution. This is just one aspect of human trafficking. Survivors of trafficking also include men and children, and the survivors are exploited by any number of means. Victims may be forced into any of the following types of labor, among others:

Debt bondage is another form of human trafficking in which an individual that is fours to work in order to pay a debt.
Understanding Human Trafficking Is
Human trafficking can include, but does not require, movement. People may be considered trafficking victims regardless of whether they were born into a state of servitude, were exploited in their home town, were transported to the exploitative situation, previously consented to work for a trafficker, or participated in a crime as a direct result of being trafficked. At the heart of this phenomenon is the traffickers’ aim to exploit and enslave their victims and the myriad coercive and deceptive practices they use to do so.

Meet Our Founder
ROSIE CHAPMAN
Rosie Chapman is the Founder and Executive Director of Letting Our Vision Evolve (LOVE) Foundation. Driven by her compassionate love to serve and help others, she takes great pride in providing the most successful outcomes in everything she set out to do. As the Founder and Executive Director of Letting Our Visions Evolve (LOVE) Foundation, her goals include community awareness and outreach.
Over the last 12 years, Rosie Chapman has been a noteworthy leader in the humanitarian space. You may know her from her most recent volunteer work as a Community Partner to the Executive Director at the American Red Cross of South Texas. Rosie Chapman spend many hours volunteering for the American Red Cross of South Texas, where she was honored with the Raising Star award for her contribution to leadership. Rosie Chapman can also be credited for contributions to concerns on Humanitarian Crisis.
Rosie Chapman is currently a member of her local Rotary Club and serves as the District End Human Trafficking Liaison. Rosie has always had a passion for community involvement and shows it by also serving as a Board Member for the Cameron and Willacy County Community Action Projects, INC. in South Texas.
Upon completion of her university studies, she was honored by the Baptist Health Foundation as the most outstanding graduated graduating with a Nursing Degree. Rosie Chapman holds a Bachelors of Science Degree in Nursing from Wayland Baptist University where she graduated Cum Laude. She went on to obtain a Masters of Business Administration with a concentration in Healthcare Management from the University of Texas at Tyler and currently resides in Temple, Texas.
